Don't buy it, got the infamous error 3 trap.. Contrary to what the top of this review might say, I actually spent many hours with this game on my brother's steam account before getting it for myself. The game itself is fantastic, with solid stratagey elements. However, I would reccomend looking at some videos of it prior to get a feeling if it'll be right for you.. It's worst because the enemy ai will even run point blank into your own troops to the point of being runned over by a lone tank. Another thing is either the interface and the tools are unintuitive to interact with or it doesn't exist, you can't change the facing of your tanks by drag and holding, this is very important cause there is directional armor and criticals like tracks which are permanent for battles. It's a damn shame because the game I can tell is right up there with graviteam in terms of details for battles, which is indeed awesome. So really what caused me to refund this in an instant was watching the tanks and especially infantry wobble about the battlefield running up to hug the enemy till i give them direct orders to fire and watch some terrible animations of them attempting to do so.the game deserves a true sequel either on a rehauled engine with new animations and ai or a completely new one. Only reason I bought the thing was for the sole reason of depicting the opening of the war and not the over treaded territory of the mid to end war with the americans, brits, and the soviets. You get to see some well detailed french tanks and vehicles which is really refreshing.. much suck, many leaves, wow. i really like the game and would love to give it a good review but i just cant, to sum it up accordingto this game early model t34s can out class tigers tanks all the way across the map, a.i. can shoot from anywhere ever from cover, behind hills etc, a.i. ary/air strikers are ridcously accurate as for the players they will go everywhere but the spot you pointed out. this is just some of the things. As i said i do really like the game but its pretty broken so you take it with a whole pot salt.. maybe buy it when on sale
